Welcome to my website! My name is Alyssa. Many of my friends on social media know me as Issa. I am an artist, and I created this website to share my artwork and give viewers an opportunity to purchase some of my work.
About Me:
I have lived in Livingston, California all my life. I grew up in the 1990’s, so a lot of my inspiration for drawing comes from animated movies and tv shows I loved to watch as a child. I graduated from CSU Stanislaus in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in English, and a minor in Art. I’ve worked in education for the passed 11 years. I am currently a library clerk at an elementary school, and I also work as a substitute paraprofessional after school. My goal is to someday become an illustrator, and maybe write my own books to inspire children.
Other fun facts about me are: I enjoy going to the beach (Monterey and Santa Cruz are my favorite), I love music, and I enjoy playing video games (even if I’m not very good at them).
For years, I have been hesitant to put my artwork out there to start a small business. As I work on this website, I hope to include more options such as art commissions, art tutorials, recommendations for art supplies, and more.
